With more than 25 years experience, Gail Taylor has earned her distinction as one of Canada’s foremost experts in shopping centre marketing, winning her first ICSC Award in 1986. Prior to launching Taylor in 1994, Gail worked “client- side” as a Marketing Director at three regional centres in Southern Ontario and, later, Director of Marketing for Trilea Centres. In this capacity, she championed the marketing activities for some of Canada’s most prestigious centres including Yorkdale, Scarborough Town Centre, SouthCentre and the Halifax Shopping Centre.

Over the years, Gail has played a significant role in developing the model for the customer service programs and marketing initiatives that Canadian shopping centres consider a standard today.

 Senior Art Director


Karen Finley brings 15 years experience as a Senior Art Director. Her education from the Ontario College of Art has been integral in delivering breakthrough creative, unique to every project. Her B.A at The University of Western Ontario plays a key role in developing creative campaigns that meet strategic objectives. Karen has called on these talents to succeed in the role of Art Director for a variety of brands outside of Taylor including Scotiabank International, Mercedes Benz, Mazda, Longos, and Nutrition House. Karen’s fresh approach to creative has been instrumental in Taylor achieving several award winning campaigns for our clients.

Cathy Shilton brings more than 20 years of marketing communications experience in all media to the table. As a Senior Writer and Creative Director for number of agencies, including Taylor Marketing, Hellin Marketing Group, and Grey Direct she has played an ongoing role in successful campaigns for Dixie Outlet Mall, Hazelton Lanes, Holt Renfrew, Yorkdale, TD Bank, Scotiabank, Bell Mobility, Buick, Pfizer, Soakwash, and more. Her passion for the art of writing fuels her talent and reveals itself in everything she creates.

Arthur has over 20 years experience in both retail and agency expertise, including Creative Director for Mad Marketing in Toronto and National Marketing & Merchandising for HMV Canada. Arthur has won awards for both retail merchandising excellence (HMV Canada) and packaging design (PAC Silver Award) and has been the lead creative on many high profile brands including, GlaxoSmithCline, NHL, Bausch and Lomb, MacNeil Healthcare (Tylenol), Johnson & Johnson and Universal Music Canada.

“Fashion is an infusion of classic pieces and innovative trends” is the mantra of Tara Posluns, Fashion Stylist. Years of experience have contributed to her highly admired style savvy. Known for her unique personal flair, Posluns’ skills extend from fashion journalism, to print, to runway and television. Building on her fashion studies and costume design projects, Tara’s ability to mix design elements and colour create the perfect image on camera. In addition to working with Taylor, Tara’s client list includes Ford, Chorus Entertainment, Loblaw, Kraft, and Procter & Gamble.

 Online Architect and Lead Developer


Nick is a software engineer and applications developer with 9 years of experience in designing and building software and Internet solutions.  As a Lead Architect & Lead Developer for Deluxe Corp, Nick has been a key player in the development and management of online marketing and shopping systems for companies such as NEBS Business Products and Safeguard Marketing.  With extensive experience in engineering technology solutions for the print industry, Nick has been involved in applications development for both the web and print production work flows of large-scale web-to-print systems for the aforementioned companies, as well as their clients, such as Prudential, Aloette, Deloitte, Castrol, and Unilever. 

Nick holds a H.B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, and also worked as a software developer for the U of T's Psychology and Biology departments, as well as the University Health Network. His responsibilities included the programming of motion-tracking devices, statistics analysis tools, and computer simulations for various research projects.
